My “MAKE AMERICA’S CONSTITUTION KING” Hat
Mack also noted that he was wearing a “MACK” hat, which stands for “Make America’s Constitution King!”
The hat emphasizes Mack’s belief in the importance of the rule of law, where everyone, including those in power, is subject to the law and suggests prioritizing the Constitution as the supreme law and guiding principle of the nation, ensuring that it is the ultimate authority and not subject to the whims of individuals or factions.
If you want your own MACK hat, send a request to 1660 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500. Also comes in red.
Engineer’s Report
Engineer’s Report: March 6, 2025
Authorize advertisement of the 2025 road bid
The total budgeted for the 2025 road program includes the following amounts from the noted funds/line items:
- 01-430-600 (General Fund, page B10) - $30,000
- 30-439-600 (Capital Fund, page B22) - $90,000. This was included as part of the 2024 Debt Issuance, so is being funded through debt service. The Debt Service fund itself appropriately only includes expenditures related to issuance and repayment of debt.
- 35-439-600 (Highway Aid Fund, page B26) - $725,000. These are the liquid fuels monies.
TOTAL Budget 2025 Road Program: $845,000.
Proposed Newtown-Yardley Road Sidewalk Project Nixed
At the meeting, 4 supervisors – excluding John Mack – decided to abandon pursing this project. Listen to the discussion here…
Supervisor Calabro brought up the possibility that whoever owns the property where the current walkway is located should request the sidewalk. He said “whoever owns the property” should “request for this to be done.” Later, Mack was told that the Newtown Cemetery owns the property. THIS IS NOT TRUE! See the illustration below, which is based on the Bucks County Property Map.
