Steve Bacher Talks About the Environment

Long time former Newtown resident, environmentalist, and 1st Congressional District Candidate Steve Bacher discusses environmental issues of concern to Newtown residents as well as his opposition to the 287g program, in which local police are trained to act as immigration officers.

Back in January, 2017, Bacher introduced Gordon Yeager as a speaker at a meeting hosted by the Delaware Riverkeeper Network. Mr. Yeager is a Counselor & Advocate at Curtin & Heefner LLP. At this meeting he talks about the pros and cons of Newtown Township, Upper Makefield Township and Wrightstown Township (the Jointure) enacting an anti-fracking ordinance.
