Lower Dolington Road Trail Update

At the February 12, 2020, Newtown Township Board of Supervisors Meeting, Township Engineer Leanna Colubriale gave an update regarding the next steps for constructing the 0.9 mile multi-use trail along Lower Dolington Road from Frost Lane to Upper Silverlake Road.

CLARIFICATION: Ms. Colubriale reported the Township was awarded partial grant funding from DCED and DCNR totaling $625K between the two for construction. However, the two grants actually totaled $375,000 (see below) and the Township contributed an additional $250,00 from the Parks and Recreation Capital Fund making $625,000 available for construction.
