At the March 14, 2018, Board of Supervisors meeting, John Mack asked Police Chief Pasqualini if the Newtown Police Department is seeing any evidence of so-called “Naloxone parties” where attendees use opioid knowing that someone nearby has Naxolone in case they overdose? This was an issue raised in a news story about a non-peer reviewed "working paper" authored by two economics professors (see abstract below). The following video is the response from Chief Pasqualini.
