It's Raining COVID Relief Money! How Should Newtown Spend It? Infrastructure? Replace lost revenue? Better communications? Bonuses to first responders?

This issue covers the permissible uses of funds from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which was signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021. It also presents the latest results of a survey of nearly 400 Newtown Township residents on their opinions as to what the money - about $1.93 million coming to Newtown - SHOULD be spent on.

NOTE: On June 29, 2021, the Township recieved the first depost totalling $1,024,920.93.
